While waiting for the elusive Galaxy S tablet PC, Samsung will release a white version of the i9000 Galaxy S handset as this particular version has been spotted on the Spanish version of the Carphone Warehouse website.
GSM Arena says that only a small picture of the upcoming device was seen on the website and it will be exclusive to the mobile phone giant which means that it should be available in the UK soon as well.
We have looked for the device and only managed to find the Sony Ericsson X10 Mini in the “Exclusivos” section of the website.
A quick search for the Samsung i9000 on the site brought up only the black version of the phone. GSM Arena says that the white Galaxy S handset will cost 499 Euros SIM Free with the UK version expected to cost £420.
The white Galaxy S may appeal to those users desperately looking for a latest-generation handset with such a colour scheme and appears to be a dig at Apple’s white iPhone 4 which won’t be available until the end of the year.
As a reminder, the Galaxy S can be had for as little as £315 complete with a monthly quota of 50 minutes and unlimited texts on O2.
